Join the webinar to leverage ESA Supersite in your business
European Space Agency and Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI) have established a new Earth Science supersite for satellite calibration/validation in Sodankylä, Finland in 2025.
The new state-of-the-art supersite will open up new opportunities for companies to develop and test advanced environmental sensing technologies, and compare their innovative solutions with reference sensors in place. By improving the quality of satellite-derived data, the supersite will also pave the way for new services and applications tailored to the Arctic region.
FMI has already partnered with industry to develop the capabilities of the Supersite. Established companies like CGI, Harp Technologies, Gofore and Vaisala are joined by startups Kuva Space and Kelluu.
ESA and FMI are now inviting Nordic partners to join the Arctic collaboration. The webinar will share the experiences so far and open up new opportunities for EO and satellite startups.
